We are excited and look forward to a time of greater growth in the Lord. We have been so blessed, and we are careful not to allow the blessings of the Lord, to keep us from being a blessing for the Lord. He has given us a great opportunity to shine forth and tell of all that He has done for us. We pray that we will be more verbal about all that the Lord is doing in our lives. How he has saved us from sin and has ordered our direction, as we walk in obedience to his will. This is really, what it means to be a witness for the Lord. Just tell your story, your way, and others will be encouraged and blessed in knowing that the same God that moved on the behalf of one, will move on the behalf of others. We pray that this year will be so awesome till you can't help but let your light shine. God has placed it on our hearts to began the year with a call to re-commitment. May this renewal of service and re-dedication to the Lord, be of such that it will cause others to turn to Christ as their savior.
We have a great opportunity to shine forth as labors in the vineyard of the Lord. Jesus declared to his followers, "you are light, you are salt." He affords us the power to make a difference right where we are. If we will be Christ Like, those around us will see that there are some who will stand for righteousness. One thing we must note is this; as children grow, we too must grow. Grow in the Lord. Don't let the disappointments or slip ups, deter you from being used by God in His service. He who began a great work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. The calling of God in your life is without repentance. If you fall, allow Him to raise you up, then go on and do what He leads you to do in the name of the Lord. He has given each of us a measure of faith, by His grace. He has given us gifts to be used for His glory. There are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit, and God works in each of us to do His great pleasure. So what ever you do, what ever we do, we are to do it for the Lord and not for ourselves.
One gift that has been over looked by many in the church today is found in I Cor 12: 28; Helps. All of us have been given this gift. All of us can help. He did not call us to do it all by ourselves. He called us to help each other. He blessed us with different gifts, so that all of us may be blessed together. For even as the body is one and yet has many members, we are one in Christ. I need you; you need me; we need each other. As I strive to help you, please, help me. Christ, in John 17 prayed that we might be one.
A door has opened wide for me to do some good work here. (I Cor 16:9a; NIRV). Let's step in together.
